When i was posting that last video i remembered that Difford and Tilbrook wrote a song for Dr Feelgood (they toured together for a bit with Squeeze) called Monkey which nicks the riff and feel of the Undertones number. I searched for it without much hope but found this interesting clip of an unknown Japanese band covering it. Weird.

The one thing i have found to be most important over the years is do it for fun or don't do it at all! The name of my band is the Bad Detectives we've released some music on the Western Star label and continue to gig around the west country.
